In a week the Moon moves through roughly three signs, so no single lunar position defines it. A weekly reading comes instead from the faster planets — Mercury, Venus and the Sun — and from which houses they occupy counted from Leo. Mercury and Venus never stray far from the Sun, so they tend to work the same stretch of your chart at once.
